In Hong Kong, the "American" pizza from Pizza Hut featured corn, hamburger, peppers, etc. They also sold a full menu of pasta, which included "spaghetti," noodles with garlic butter, corn, and peas.
It reminds me of being in Japan. Lots of corn, eggplant and shrimp on the pizzas with white sauce. When we would call and order pepperoni, they thought we were crazy! Hot dog pizza does look gross...
I love that the pieces of hot dog are arranged in perfect little circles with the mustard, ketchup and BBQ on top of them. That's so weird... and gross. Thanks for sharing!
Stacey, Germans love the tuna/corn combo too. I had it several times, sometimes with fried egg to enhance the flavor combo even further. I am grateful that there are some normal "American" combos, too.
Gross. :)
ReplyDeleteYumminesssss. ;)

ReplyDeleteYeah, not so tasty. In the UK they top pizza with canned corn and tuna fish! Not my choice but those crazy Brits love the stuff :)
