Shop 'Til You Drop

Tracy came to town, so we decided to go see the new City Center in Las Vegas. Besides having several new hotels, there is also an upscale mall.

The guy working there was sure that she needed a more "kid friendly" flavor than chocolate. He kept saying, "It is really rich." I assured him it was fine, but he gave her several tastes of other flavors, but she insisted she just wanted chocolate. When she was nearly finished, she "accidentally" knocked her bowl on the floor. They gave her a full new bowl. Sneaky girl. Of course, Mom took that opportunity to sample some of it.

In Las Vegas, it is fine to come to the mall in just your bikini & a cover-up.

4th of July--Las Vegas City Center

After enjoying a great barbeque, homemade ice cream, and a fireworks display, we decided to extend our evening longer. I wasn't sure how wise this was going to be with jet-lag still hanging on, but we had good friends in town, so we couldn't resist. We headed to the Las Vegas City Center which had recently opened and no one except Holly had visited. It has 5 hotels as well as shopping, spas, etc. (Oh, had to stop at the Bellagio on the way.) Here is some of what we saw.

Yes, we felt the effects the next morning, but we had a fun time. Now, we just need to go back to explore some more.
