They DO sing

Sand dunes winding across the expanse of nothingness is such a quintessential Middle East view in my opinion. We wanted to take Heidi out to see them before she left. Although the singing seemed like a myth, we told her why they were called "The Singing Sand Dunes" with no expectation to hear them, since the past visits yielded no results. Much to our surprise, as Travis was setting up to take a few photos, there was a low rumble. We all wondered what it was, and suddenly realized it was the dunes in face singing. After that, there was an abundance of elation and awe as we spent the remaining daylight sliding down the dunes.
